The yarn is spun from 100% long-staple virgin wool with extraordinary strength for no fraying or breaking during stitching. This versatile, mothproof 3-ply yarn is perfect for heirloom-quality needlepoint, crewel, cross-stitch and more.
Because it has become again, increasingly difficult to obtain a full stock of NEW Paternayan Yarns, I am now going to be offering the Colonial Brand too!  This yarn is EXACTLY like Vintage Paternayan!   Same yarn as produced by JCA, and being dyed by the same dyemaster as JCA!   The color numbers are the same as Paternayan only with a "1" in front of each number......Easy!   So, if you have been longing for the old Paternayan, you will have found it again in this yarn!  Beautiful, soft, and silky!   4oz Hanks contain 172 yards of continuous yarn, 1oz cut Hanks contain about 40 yards cut in 32" pieces.
1260 is the White.....1261, 1262, 1263 are Creams.
