This is a new and unopened complete COUNTED crosstitch kit of a design entitled "Sugar Skull." It is vivid, filigree decorated, design of a Mexican folk art skull or Calavera. The skulls, made of sugar cubes, are created for children for the Mexican Día de Muertos or Day of the Dead which has roots in the Aztec, Mayan, and Toltec cultural celebrations. You add shimmer and shine to this design using the included Mill Hill glass beads. Centered on the skull, you affix an orange leaf from Mill Hill's Button Collection (included.) This Calaveras design is a perfect way to remind us to celebrate our lives and mortality, to look at the past and future, all the while being in the present!
Included in the package: 14 count perforated paper, Mill Hill glass beads, Mill Hill ceramic button, 100% cotton embroidery floss, needles and complete and easy instructions ~ Everything you need to complete this CrossStitch project!
